Anything outdoor-related, you can be sure Rob will be up for it. If he’s not trekking up a mountain, he’s riding a bike or skiing down one. Rob loves visiting new countries, experiencing new cultures, attending music festivals, and going off-grid in his classic VW campervan. Cool fact about Rob’s campervan: it used to be a fruit delivery van in Botswana before being imported to the UK.

At school, Rob was part of a very successful 4-man rowing crew that raced against the best teams throughout the UK and Europe. Some of his rowing highlights include racing at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta, taking the gold at the National Championships, and again at the National Schools’ Regatta.

For the past 11 years, Rob has worked in the cycling industry as a marketer for local bike shops and a British cycling apparel company. His love of the great outdoors and marketing has led him to True Adventure, where he works behind the scenes, helping the team in our mission to change and develop young people through travel.
