Empowering Teachers and Students
Embarking on an educational expedition is more than just a journey; it’s a transformative experience that shapes young minds, fosters personal growth, and creates lifelong memories. At True Adventure, we understand the significance of these adventures, which is why we are dedicated to providing unparalleled support to both teachers and students across the globe. Our commitment goes beyond mere organisation – we aim to empower and equip students with the tools they need to thrive.
Face-to-Face Support for Teachers
Navigating the complexities of planning an expedition can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. True Adventure offers extensive face-to-face support for teachers throughout the entire preparation process. Whether you have questions about logistics, safety concerns, or educational objectives, our team is here to provide guidance and personalised assistance.
Comprehensive Termly Meetings
Our in-person termly meetings cover a range of topics essential for expedition readiness. From fundraising and responsible travel to practical skills, these sessions ensure that both teachers and students are well-prepared for the adventure ahead. We believe in empowering students to take ownership of their expedition experience, offering guidance on fundraising initiatives, ethical travel practices, and financial literacy.
Student-Centred Expeditions
We believe that every student is unique, with their own interests and aspirations. That’s why we offer opportunities for students to actively participate in shaping their expedition. Whether it’s planning itineraries, choosing activities, or managing budgets in-country, we encourage students to take ownership and develop leadership skills along the way.
Flexibility for Schools
We understand that every school has its own preferences and constraints when it comes to expedition planning. That’s why we offer flexibility in our approach, accommodating in-person assemblies and online or in-person parent evenings to suit your school’s schedule and preferences. Our goal is to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all participants.
Meet the Leader Events
Building trust and rapport between students, parents, and expedition leaders is crucial for a successful expedition. That’s why we provide opportunities for schools to meet their expedition leader not only at the training expedition but also at the dedicated “Meet the Leader” evening. This event allows parents and students to get to know their leader, ask questions, and build confidence in the expedition team.
At True Adventure, we believe that every expedition is an opportunity for growth, learning, and discovery. We are committed to empowering teachers and students across the globe to embrace the journey ahead, confident in their abilities and fully prepared for the adventure of a lifetime.
