In remote villages age-old customs survive within ethnic tribes. Then there’s the food - subtle in flavour and outstanding in diversity. Vietnam is a feast for all the senses.
Explore a new landscape
Trekking is a fantastic way to appreciate this country’s diverse and breathtaking landscapes. Discover the rice fields and dramatic limestone karsts of northern Sapa, summit Lang Bian Peak in the mountains of central Dalat or explore Pu Luong Nature Reserve (an area of stunning beauty and biodiversity) dotted with traditional villages.
Be part of a global community
Teams can often trek into their project site where they will spend time engaged in a variety of tasks depending on local needs. These could include developing village infrastructure or working on agricultural or environmental projects. It is a wonderful opportunity to make a contribution to a remote community and experience a traditional lifestyle untouched by tourism.
Learn something important
A trip to Vietnam would not be complete without visiting some of the historical sites which reflect this country’s varied and dramatic past. The Cu Chi Tunnels in the south or the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, provide stark evidence of the gruesome effects of war.The temples and pagodas of Hue and Hoi An offer atmospheric reminders of Vietnam’s ancient past.
