Expedition

  • Experience a very different culture

Slovenia is a country that is full of many wonders. Venture into the surrounding countryside and you’ll instantly fall under the spell of the traditional farmland and haystack vistas before you. A highlight for any adventurer, Lake Bled itself, is set in picturesque surroundings. The town is packed full of historical churches, quaint streets and friendly local cafes. An evening walk around the medieval castle of Lake Bled is nothing short of enchanting.

  • Explore a new landscape

Multi-day routes traverse the Julian Alps on trails that pass mountains, turquoise lakes, and flower-filled valleys. Day walks in the stunning Radovljica Valley, Mostnica Gorge, or to the Savica Waterfall offer equally stunning views. Trek between Lake Bohinj and Bovec, over-nighting in mountain huts. It is a unique journey for those who want a bit more of a challenge!

  • Do something new

Quiet paths through lush landscapes and around picturesque lakes provide a perfect terrain for exploring on wheels! Mountain biking is great fun and an ideal way to take in the breath-taking scenery of the traditional towns and villages that you pass along the way.

  • Take to the water

The crystal-clear water and exciting rapids of the turquoise Soca River are perfect for white water rafting, a great team activity that will get your adrenaline going! Get a different perspective of the landscape and try to stand up paddleboarding to the island in the middle of Lake Bled, a brilliant way to relax and soak up the atmosphere of this unique country.
