This is the phase where teams assist in a variety of environmental or community based projects. Past examples include building a playground or concreting mud floors.

Other options include constructing or restoring classrooms in remote mountain communities or planting trees as part of a reforestation project. All projects are chosen in consultation with the community to ensure their needs are met.

  • Trek

There are several trekking options to chose from. The team can explore the numerous jungle trails in the beautiful Cockscombe basin also home to Mt Victoria, the highest peak in Belize.

Alternatively, teams could opt to trek through Mountain Pine Ridge forest reserve, the only pine forest in Central America.

  • Culture and Review

Teams can explore the many Mayan cave complexes and archaeological sites of Altun Ha and Xunantunich; climb the steps to the temple tops for stunning jungle views.

The Belize Cayes off the coast from the village of Hopkins are a great place for the team to relax and soak up the culture.
