Expedition
Experience a very different culture
Take your shoes off and break bread with locals as you experience Albanian hospitality! Immerse yourself in history and spend time exploring ancient Roman and Greek sites or let the sun dazzle your eyes in the ‘City of a Thousand Windows’.
Finding Adventure
Head off on an adventure into the Accursed Mountains, trekking to the Blue Eye of Nderlysaj, before taking on the challenge of trekking to the Valbona Pass and the Rosi Pass. Expect to see stunning blue waterfalls, WWII bunkers, and traditional villages on the way.
Feeling Wild
Setting up camp under the stars whilst preparing your dinner on the side of a mountain is an unforgettable experience! Settle down for the night before waking to watch the sun rise. Push off on a bike adventure, peddling between the villages and Kruja Castle.
Testing the Waters
Get the blood pumping and the heart racing as you white water raft down the beautiful Osumi River. For a more sedate experience, relax and take in the jaw-dropping scenery on a ferry ride through the Fierza Fjords.
What to expect
Weather
Albania has a mild climate, following the seasonal pattern of nearby countries such as Italy, Greece and Montenegro. Temperatures will rise in the summer months, but remain warm through to Autumn, providing chances to explore this country outside the usual seasons!
Terrain
Blue rivers and green mountains make a great backdrop for your adventure. The mountains are ideal for camping during the summer and the rivers are great places to really get the adrenaline flowing!
