True Adventure was founded in 2006 based on one big idea, that travel has the power to change and develop young people like nothing else.

Fast-forward to today and we’ve taken more than 7,000 students on over 750 incredible expeditions.

We’ve been privileged to work with the most amazing students, educators, leaders, schools, communities, and charities, and we’ve enjoyed some unforgettable experiences along the way.

Yet our passion and values have never changed: to provide young people with ambitious adventures that are truly life-changing. Fundamentally, we believe that every school and pupil are different and so every adventure should be too.

The impact our adventures have on your students and you as teachers, as well as the communities we visit are important to us and who we are as a company. We promise that each True Adventure is:

It’s important that our transformative adventures are affordable but not at the cost of local livelihoods. We always choose to partner with local suppliers and pay them a fair wage every time.

It’s our job to make your incredible adventure as safe as possible, so you can focus on the unforgettable experience you’re on. But we also make it our job to see that our impact on the countries, people and the environment we interact with is positive.
